The option to automatically approve candidates can save you a significant amount of time during the election setup process. When prospective candidates complete and submit a nomination information and details form, they are automatically approved and included in the election build. This streamlined process ensures that all valid candidates are efficiently entered into the election without the need for manual approval, allowing you to focus on other critical aspects of the election.

Candidate Positions

What is the Maximum Number of Positions a Candidate Can Nominate Themselves For?

When prospective candidates nominate themselves for your election, you have the flexibility to determine the maximum number of positions they can apply for. This allows you to manage the election more effectively by controlling how many roles each candidate can aim for, ensuring a fair and organised nomination process. By setting these limits, you can maintain the integrity of the election and ensure that candidates are suitably distributed across available positions.

Building the Prospective Candidate Form

The form builder allows you to gather essential information from your potential candidates efficiently. A set of default fields is available, and you can select them using the toggle switch next to each field option. These default fields are the same as those available in your election builder, which you would use if you were manually entering candidate information without a nominations process via Choice Voting Nominations.

You also have the flexibility to adjust the order of the fields to suit your needs.

For some nominations, you may require custom fields, such as a candidate's membership number. These can be added to your form using the "Add additional fields" option. There are no limits on the number of fields you may add, allowing you to customise the form comprehensively to meet your specific requirements.

By utilising the form builder, you ensure that all necessary information is collected in an organised and streamlined manner, facilitating a smooth and efficient nomination process.
